Ostara Perfume Oil

Ostara, Goddess of Spring and the Dawn.

She is a goddess of the dawn and the spring, and her name derives from words for dawn, the shining light arising from the east. March 21st is widely-known as the Spring Equinox, one of the two days a year where there are equal amounts of hours of daylight and nighttime. Many ancient cultures noticed this, and marked the day as a special holiday. The goddess "Eostar" was the patron of spring, and this holiday came to be known as "Ostara."

We created this enchanting spring time perfume with the ancient goddess in mind. With top notes of herbs and soft florals, middle notes of evergreen, tuberous and clary sage and base notes of oakmoss, labdanum and amyris. This is a complex scent bursting with life. Starting off with a crisp herbal invigoration and melting into a soft earthy garden scent. This is not your typical "spring time" perfume with heady florals but rather like a walk in the woods in early spring.

Our perfumes are made from essential oils, natural fragrance, extracts, absolutes and co2 extracts, nothing synthetic.
